ABOUT THE BREED
Siberian Neva Masquerade cats are extremely rare cats. They are a result of cross-breeding Siberian cats and Siamese cats that started in Russia in the 80s. There is a river called "Neva" in Russia from where they got the name from.
The Neva Masquerade breed shares most of the characteristics of a traditional Siberian but they have some attributes that make them more desirable:
-they have the most beautiful blue eyes you'll ever see on an animal;
-they have a white body with some black, gray, or brown paws, years, and/or noses. This color is referred to as "Seal Point".
Neva Masquerade cats, like traditional Siberian cats, produce low levels of Fel-d1 (the protein that is responsible for allergies in humans), which makes them hypoallergenic (for most cases). Because Siberian Neva cats are part Siamese, some of them might have higher levels of Fel-d1. TRAITS & TEMPERAMENT
-Friendly and Social: The Neva Masquerade is a friendly and gentle cat that will usually get along with strangers and behave a lot like a dog. The Neva likes attention and surprises most of my "dog people" friends who believe cats are jerks.
-Loyal and Loving: The Neva is considered a perfect cat for children (never once did my cats draw their claws against my young daughter), will form a strong bond with his/her family, and will suffer if left alone for long periods of time.
-Smart and Trainable: The Neva Masquerade is highly trainable and will not ruin your furniture. You will simply have to teach where it is appropriate to scratch their nails. He/she will know their name (sometimes they even answer when you call them) and you will be able to set rules to be followed. If taught while young, they will go on a walk with you on a leash.

I grew up with a dog and 2 cats. I really thought my pets were amazing because my dog respected my space (which is unusual) and my cats were more friendly than stereotypical cats. The combination of my dog and cats' behaviors describes what Neva cats are and why I love them so much.

It took almost a year of research before I decided to get my first Neva cat and it took about 6 months before getting my first cat, Mitsuha (directly from Russia!).
She has been loved so much by me and by all the people that met her that so many people asked me to have kittens from her!
I decided to get a boy from another breeder to have some kittens to give to my friends and the breeder told me that she had a special girl that she wanted me to have. After seeing this special girl's dad I got in love with the idea of having a full white girl and from 1 cat I jumped to 3 cats!
I am obsessed with them all and can't wait for you to see them/their kittens!
